Was semi-excited about trying this new service, but so far very disappointed. The documentation basically says, “set up the DNS”. In the FAQ, it asks, “how do I know if I set it up corrrectly?” to which the reply is basically, “if it isn’t, it won’t work.” It’s like a snarky teenager is in charge of instructions and support.
    .
What would be really helpful, useful even, is a couple of quick screen grab pix in the Instructions of a properly set up DNS, with and without Cloudflare, showing Type, Name, and Content (or Points To). I’ve used Sucuri and Cloudflare, so I know how to make changes, but I don’t live, eat, and sleep DNS. Those two companies give clear instructions of EXACTLY what to do. As it is, with the QUIC Cloud instructions leaving more questions than answers, and having read through the numerous CNAME-related questions here, all asking essentially the same thing, and getting <Zero help, I find myself unimpressed.

    Hi @tda325,

I am sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal introduction to QUIC.cloud. We are constantly improving the product, and as it is in beta, documentation are quickly hashed together and become out of date rather quickly.

We will look to improve the documentation, as we do strive to make the process as easy as possible.

In the meantime, is there anything that we can help with as far as setting up QUIC.cloud for your site?

    Best,
    Kevin

I made a fairly specific suggestion in the second paragraph. SOme screen grabs. Currently, I’m trying to connect a site via Cloudflare. Positive that I’m not doing it correctly, because the site is utterly broken. No idea whether the problem is in the CNAME settings, the Optimization settings. Nothing to reference against. WIll be removing this plugin.

Understood. Apologies for the troubles. I will work to improve the onboarding document, so that it clarifies some steps.

    Hi @tda325,

If you are willing to give it another try, I revamped the entire onboarding document today. Feel free to give it a try; I took your suggestions and made more screenshots and updated the text some.

    Here’s the doc

    Thanks,
    Kevin
