    Hello,

I want to always ask consent for statistics and I have set up my Analytics through Complianz. However, I see that cmplz_statistics-anonymous cookie is always set prior to consent, does this mean that there is statistics data drawn without consent?

Also, in Safari I keep getting a browser notification saying “1 tracker prevented from profiling you” referring to the gtag script placed by Complianz. Is this a GDPR issue?

    Thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @konstantinak,

The cookie “cmplz_statistics-anonymous” is a functional cookie from Complianz, which keeps track of whether anonymized statistics are allowed to be set. If you configured Analytics as per our guide here, that would classify as “anonymous statistics”.

This cookie does not gather any statistics data itself, it is purely used by the plugin to keep track of cookie consent preferences.

As for the “prevented tracker”, I visited your site but it does not seem that the gtag script is loaded, until you provide consent in the banner (it’s set to text/plain prior to this).

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
