CMB2 Field TextArea Code Can’t Delete Content

    Hi CMB2 users …

    I created theme options with text area_code as field.

    1. I find the first problem which is the field can’t save HTML content with mod_security ON.

    2. With mod_security OFF, I can’t delete some HTML tags, like </span> – save – delete, its work but the value from previous saved state (like ) will be echoed in frontend.

    Anyone experience the same thing like me? How do you solve them?

    PS: I installed the theme in Multi Site.

    I suspect that module is very purposely stripping out the html for its configured security purposes, and I have doubts there’s anything we could do to get around that.

    With it off, it’s not letting you delete some parts of the text saved/typed in? Yet it also doesn’t update the value any more? Can you confirm what values are saved in your meta tables for this specific post?
