    Hi, I installed, activated and fixed the settings but emails still go out from WordPress.com. What can I try next?

  • Can you give me the CB Mail Admin Panel screenshot? I would like to know your saved data for the two fields like email and name field.

    Sorry, I got sidetracked.
    I thought I’d fixed it because it was sending out system emails, eg new user notifications, with the correct sender name “The Triangle”. But when I do posts, the sender still says “WordPress”. See the admin screenshot screenshot

    I thnk you’ve used another any type of email related plugin, and the plugin will conflict with that plugin, please check your plugins list if you installed any another plugin type of email or email template related then please disable that plugin and then check again. and let me know please.

    The only possible one is ‘Post Type Switcher’ — that’s the only post-related plug-in we have. I’ve de-activated it, so we’ll see what happens when we send another post tomorrow. Thanks.

    For some reason I don’t get email notifications when you respond.

    Can you give me a screenshot? which email did you receive? just open/view email then give me screenshot.

    Hi, It’a newsletter, isn’t sent from your own site/server, but my plugin only works for your own site which site did you installed the plugin, you can check the email send from WordPress.com website/server as a newsletter https://prnt.sc/ty704z so you can’t change the name because you don’t have access/right to change the text or email.
    So I think you’ve understood.

    What do you mean, Bashar, it’s not sent from our own site/server? Of course it is!

    Why does it say ‘[email protected]’ when in the CB Change Sender settings I have ‘[email protected]’ as the return address (see link above)? I thought that was the whole point of the plug-in, to change the sender name and return address.

    I installed the plug-in on thetriangle.org.au. Here’s a screenshot.

    I have full rights. Your plug-in did change the sender name for an email notification when I added a new WP user. But when we send posts they still come from ‘WordPress’. Jen

    Hi, You can’t change/modify 3rd party server, you don’t have the right to change or you don’t have access to change anything else to 3rd party server, you can not do it. and sorry to say, everyone, can’t help with your wish. you can change/modify only on your own server. you can use newsletter plugin for sending emails from your own then that email using your customization name, but It’s a risk for your website because you will be ban from your hosting company for the spamming reason.

    I’m really sorry for the issue, I can’t help you about the 3rd party server, and isn’t my plugin related issue, sorry for that.
