    When you created the new “Custom Meta”, you also set a default value for it. When you add a new user, or when a new registration occurs, the new user is automatically assigned the Custom Meta keys and their default values.

    Additionally, if you need to change the meta value for a particular user, or for all users, you can achieve that using this plugin.
