CLS issue with should_load_separate_core_block_assets

    Hi,

    I have a CLS issue when I use should_load_separate_core_block_assets filter to reduce css size for core blocks. Inline CSS moves to footer and causes huge CLS score. Do you have any idea how to move inline css to head?

  • I don’t believe you can. This hook allows you to only load CSS for blocks that are in use, but WordPress can’t know what blocks are used on any given page until the page has been rendered, at which point the stylesheets can be only be added to the footer. This is the trade-off.
