CLS issue: more than 0.25 (mobile)

  • Hellow,

    I have a CLS issue (0.25) on most of the pages of my site. So, how can I resolve this issue? Besides, I’ve used the font-size ’16’ and font-type ‘Segoe UI’.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

  • Hi there,

    the majority of CLS issues are created by incorrectly configured optimization plugins like WP Rocket, Litespeeed etc.

    Test your site with those plugins disabled to check that.

    If you still have an issue then please provide a link to your site on a page where CLS is being reported.

    Let us know if disabling those plugins showed an improvement.

    It’s been two days since I disabled the lightspeed plugin but still no changes. Besides, is this because of the ads?

    I opened the URL in an incognito browser with the network and performance throttled so i could see whats happening – and yeah theres an advert that gets injected after the header that shunts the entire page down.
    And theres the scroll down advert banner – both of which are CLS makers

    SO, I will remove the ads from the header side and check whether that solves the issue or not.
