Cloudfront CDN not working in the latest update

I spent several hours trying to get CDN working after that latest update of W3TC 0.9.7.5. Test Connection failed. After rolling back to the version 0.9.7.4. CDN for Cloudfront works as without problem. I had gone through the Support thread and tried all the suggestions, nothing helped. I had even tried disabling all the plugins. Also tried editing CdnEngine_CloudFront.php as suggested in of the thread by the W3TC author. Nothing helped. Apparently something has changed in 0.9.7.5 which broke the CDN Cloudfront.
