• Dear Cloudflare team,

It’s becoming increasingly challenging to overlook the ongoing issue: your plugin’s lack of compatibility with up-to-date WordPress versions. As of 17 October 2023, WordPress 6.3 has been out since 8 August 2023. Yet, here we are, with the Cloudflare plugin still not supporting it. This isn’t a one-off incident. For the last two years, I’ve witnessed this repetitive oversight. It’s particularly galling considering the plugin is vital for the paid APO service. It’s high time this issue was addressed. What exactly is causing this continuous lapse?

  • I stopped using this plugin over a year ago. I wasn’t able to run it in my sites with any level of consistency and couldn’t open the settings. The plugin is very broken and feels like abandonware. It is not being used on any of my websites anymore, which is disappointing. It was good plugin at one point.

Hey Cloudflare team, can you chime in, please?

    Hey guys,

While this plugin may appear to be “abandoned,” it’s still compatible with WP 6.4.2 (latest update as of today). In addition, all PHP deprecated notices related to PHP 8.3.1 were fixed with the recent plugin update, V4.12.4.

In short, you’re good to go!

    Best wishes.

Nope, the most recent update, released today, remains two major WordPress versions outdated:

    Hey, @zukosapl,

Yes, true. However, that’s not what was stated.

Based on testing and our own use, the plugin IS compatible with WP 6.4.2. Team Cloudflare simply needs to update the plugin content.

    Cheers!
