• Hi,

I am using your plugin for some time. I have disabled Page caching for the time being as I am developing the website. I am on shared hosting on Hostinger and have free Cloudflare enabled. I am on a Litespeed Server and will use its own cache plugin along with your plugin.

I came across the Cloudflare Workers option in the plugin. Since I am just starting out, I would like to enable the Workers Option as it is according to you more powerful than the Page Rules option.

    1)
    a) Therefore I would like to know if I have to enable Workers in the Cloudflare website dashboard or just enable the “Worker Mode” and “Disable the cache buster” options in the plugin and the plugin does everything OR both?
    b) Do I have to disable the Page Rules if I do this, or can I use it side by side with Workers?
    c) Can I add additional Page Rules by myself while using the plugin?

    2) Another thing if I enable Page Caching later on, will I have to disable it while website development during making changes? Can I do it now?

Thanks. I am complete non tech newbie. Please suggest a step by step with explanations if possible.

    Hi @astroboy89,

I am on a Litespeed Server and will use its own cache plugin along with your plugin.

    – Unfortunately, that won’t work. You are not supposed to use more than one page caching systems. So, when using this plugin along with taking advantage of the Cloudflare caching, you can also enable the Fallback Cache option to have disk-level cache which will only be used when someone is visiting a page which hasn’t already been cached by Cloudflare. Please check the FAQ tab inside the plugin settings it has already been mentioned there.

Therefore I would like to know if I have to enable Workers in the Cloudflare website dashboard or just enable the “Worker Mode” and “Disable the cache buster” options in the plugin and the plugin does everything OR both?

    – It is the later. You just enable the option within the plugin and the plugin will take care of the rest.

Do I have to disable the Page Rules if I do this, or can I use it side by side with Workers?

    – When you enable the Worker mode the cache everything page rule added by the plugin will automatically be deleted before adding the worker script. You can use the page rules for other things like forwarding URL. Just nothing relates to caching as the caching login will be handled by the worker script.

Can I add additional Page Rules by myself while using the plugin?

    – Yes, just not related to caching. You can use page rules for other things like forwarding URLs.

Another thing if I enable Page Caching later on, will I have to disable it while website development during making changes? Can I do it now?

    – It is always recommended not to use any caching system on a development website. FIrst, develop and test the website then add the caching as the final option.
