We are using Cloudflare, full version for our website. Our webhost also has LiteSpeed functionality.

We spent a lot of time configuring the LiteSpeed Cache WordPress plugin for our website. However, we are using WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache and it advises to turn the cache function of LiteSpeed to ‘off’.

We have done that. Now LiteSpeed plugin states: “WARNING: LSCache caching functions on this page are currently unavailable! Please enable LiteSpeed Cache in the plugin settings.”

    1. Will it negatively affect our site in any way if we turn LiteSpeed cache off?

    2. If we are turning LiteSpeed’s cache to off, is there any need for us to keep the ‘LiteSpeed Cache’ WordPress plugin? Or are there any functions that the plugin will still have that are beneficial for us?

Thanks a million. I’m grateful for your assistance.

    Hi,

    1) depends on your set up , as currently I can see your site is not running on any cache

    cf-cache-status: DYNAMIC

    not even on CF cache.

    2) besides caching , our plugin also does page optimization.

so it’s up to you if you need the page optimization.

Thanks for the prompt response! Much appreciated.

    a) Thank you for informing us about this.

According to our Cloudflare account and Cloudflare’s diagnostic checker at https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/diagnostic-center/ Cloudflare is active on our website. So do you know why it might not be running please?

    b) What does the optimization feature do please?
