    Your plugin’s Cloudflare Optimization feature — when activated — deletes Pages Rules that may be essential for a website to operate properly and efficiently.

    We are certain SG hasn’t tested its Cloudflare Optimization feature under all possible website conditions.

    Based on the above, this is to request that when your Cloudflare Optimization feature is activated, that all existing Cloudflare Page Rules be deactivated or turned off (NOT) deleted.

    Essential Benefits:

    (1) Users will not have to rebuild or reconstruct their Page Rules if they decide to disable SG Optimizer’s Cloudflare Optimization feature. Many users have more than 20-40 Page Rules supporting their website.

    (2) Users can control better the performance and function of their website.

    SiteGround has no right to delete users’ Page Rules. Please keep that in mind.

    And yes, Cloudflare Page Rules and Workers can coexist if set up properly.

    Thank you!

    I have already answered this question. We will continue deleting rules as per the warning message before that happens. If you want to keep them both, just don’t use this functionality in the SG Optimizer. It is not mandatory.

    @hristo-sg,

    Can you point out where did you previously answer the above request?

    Our last post on this topic — Cloudflare feature — did not include above request (in bold).

    Since you’re not willing to table above request for consideration, where can we file our petition?

    As a paying SG customer, we’re very disappointed with your lack of consideration to help eliminate the issue presented above.

    This issue is not resolved.

    You can consider your petition filed since I am WordPress Initiatives Manager at SiteGround and I lead the team developing this plugin. The plugin provides free and easy integration with Cloudflare which covers the majority of use cases. Since you need a particular integration, you can always disable it and manually configure both your site and your Cloudflare account. As I already replied at this point we do not plan on changing the way the plugin works.

    @hristo-sg,

    Respectfully, your answer is unacceptable. We’ll elevate with justification.

    As stated before, previous topic did not present above request (different content).

    Again, this topic is not resolved.

    I am afraid that the answer remains the same and I can’t add anything more to this conversation.

    @hristo-sg,

    Why can’t your team simply disable the customer’s Page Rules instead of deleting them?

    Should be easy to implement. Why complicate things?

    Listening to your PAYING clients is always the right thing to do.

    Thank you.
