On the live site I can make the changes but on the Staging site Cloudflare blocks the changes. I do not understand why. On the Cloudflare forum, I seem to have understood that if the subdomain is of the third level it can cause problems.

What am I trying to do? Implement a PHP change suggested by Wpbeginner. Add copyrights in the footer. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-a-dynamic-copyright-date-in-wordpress-footer/

I have even enabled WordPress top bar but i am getting a block from Cloudflare. On the live site it’s fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ildomandatore

I think you are trying to add this PHP function using a file manager plugin inside WordPress Dashboard, is that right?

Please do that via FTP, that’s a safer way to do code modifications and you won’t be blocked by anything.

    Thanks,

    Alaa

The problems started since I uploaded the files with FTP. Then I got more blocks from Cloudflare. I’ve created other staging sites but I’m having problems.

What is the exact error message thrown by Cloudflare?
You could exclude the subfolder in the Cloudflare settings to which the staging site is copied. This might solve it.
If it still does not work, please send us an error report using the REPORT ISSUE button in the wp staging plugin and send us your system information and the log files.
