Cloud integration possible so website doesn't fuck up?

    I really (!) love this chat plugin but I wondered if there is a way to integrate a cloud storage (maybe google drive or dropbox) to store and manage the whole thing.

    Lately I had around 2000 visitors on the website, and because I have the chat as a widget displayed on the homepage there where too many databse connections which at first ended in a very very very slow website and finaly lead into a complete crash. Unfortunately my webserver is obviously not fast enough to handly so many users and therefore I really hope you know a solution for my problem.
