Closing a topic with WP Forum

  • Hi everyone,

    I’ve been looking all over internet for an awnser to the next question:

    Once a topic is created, or an Announcement, how do I close it so people can’t reply anymore? Because I can find it in the admin panel or in the post itself as an admin…

    Thnx for the help in advance ??

    In your wordpress blog? are you speaking of closing comments? If so go to wp-admin find settings click discussions you will land at wp-admin/options-discussion.php set comment to close after “x number” of days

    I just installed 2.4 plugin in wordpress and everything worked fine and still working fine except that I am not able to post any new topic……

    As soon as I hit submit button – im getting this error:
    [an error occurred while processing this directive]

    Rest of the wordpress is working fine. But this plugin posting doesnt work.

    Here is some hint:
    1) I am at this page- trying to add a new topic:
    https://sitename/wpblogname/students-corner/?wpforumaction=addtopic&forum=4.0

    NOTE: students-corner is a wordpress page that is wp-forum page, as per installations guide i created this page as home page of wp-forum.

    2) PROBLEM here >> I hit submit button on last page (step#1) and I land on this page:
    https://sitename/wpblogname/wp-content/plugins/wp-forum/wpf-insert.php

    with error:
    [an error occurred while processing this directive]

    Please help. Thanks in advance.
