  • Some hosts are implementing a Spam Protection service on their email servers, and what this service does is, it opens (access) each link inside the email (newsletter) to verify it.

    This service (that we haven’t identified its name yet) also loads our hidden image inside the newsletter, that we use to track the open statistics.

    That’s why on the affected users, MailPoet is showing a 100% open rate.

    When we change their sending method (MailPoet menu > Settings page > Send with… tab) to another one, like SendGrid, for example, the problem is solved, confirming that this issue is related to their servers.

    Can you please do a test and change your sending method to another one (we suggest using a free SendGrid account for example) and send a newsletter with this new sending method? It should work!
