    Because when an agent or administrator answers the client for the first time, it generates a closed ticket automatically.

    It should not close the ticket unless one decides, but it happens that it is not.

    What is the setting so that it does not generate automatic tick closing when it is answered for the first time?

    Hello,

    Please confirm there is a condition added for status in “Change Ticket Status” notification template.
    Please follow below steps:
    1. Go to Dashboard > Support > Email Notifications > Ticket Notifications
    2. Edit “Change Ticket Status” notification template
    3. Make sure there is a condition added in Conditions as below:
    Status => Matches => Closed
