• This maybe a known issue but couldn’t find it.
I’m using a theme from Thrive Themes which has a “clone” feature.
When we “clone” a post, the log for the autopost says skipped already posted – with the original post date.

    Any suggestions??

  • sflwa,

Cannot help but this info might nudge us all in the right direction.
Autopost has also stopped working for me, as of about two weeks ago.
I also clone posts, using a Duplicate script in the functions.php file of my child theme (theme I use is Generatepress).
This script has always worked flawlessly and might not be the issue at all. I don’t see any “already posted” message in the log file but it looks like it’s cueing itself up and then simply not following through.

    Maybe useful information, maybe not.

    Good luck

The autopost itself is working as I did a test via the plugin settings and if I start a new post it works as expected – However when using a cloned post it shows in the log that it goes to post and then says skipped already posted with the original date (Feb 2022).

I don’t believe anything changed in the theme and I am told it “was” working – looking forward to hearing an update from the author

OK, Good to know. I’ll try a post that’s not cloned tomorrow and see if it makes any difference. It all works fine with me if I manually post, just the Autopost not doing its thing.
