clone widget custom recent posts is not creating widget with post in it

  • Just installed and starting using this awesome tool!

    I have created multiple widgets that can be displayed on my pages, per page. I am attempting to create a widget that displays posts by category, but when I clone from WP Widget, and base it off of the ‘custom recent posts’ widget, no posts display in the list- I verified that I do have posts with the category that I have selected. I have also tested this by using the WP Widget, it does display recent posts by category.

    Any suggestions? Any more information I can provide to get help with this?
