Clone of WP-Footnotes with fewer options

  • I tried this one after using WP-Footnotes for a while. It’s newer that WP-Footnotes but also nearly identical. WP-Footnote’s code has been cleaned up in a few placed and it adds a tooltip to the backlink but unfortunately these minor improvements are outweighed by the fact that it strips out WP-Footnote’s admin panel. I really liked the flexibility of those options.

    Just to clarify, it’s stated numerous times on the plugin page and in the code that it’s based on WP-Footnotes. I’m not trying to rip off Simon Elvery’s work in any way.
