clone/ migration of existing live website

Hi,

I need a help ..
I have live website e.g. example.com , which is running on internet.

I have installed XAMPP and VH locally on my pc.

What I have to do , in order to run example.com , website to my pc locally.
I want to add eCommerce functionality into it, but first I want to add that locally and want to test it before I upload the same website with eCommerce functionality.

Please I need your, valuable suggestion!
