clone from http to http to https

    Hi there,

    I want to clone a site from one http site to another http subdomain testsite and than clone it again to the actual live ssl site.

    Is it better to go from https to https?
    Or is it also ok to go from http to https?

    Do i need to disable wprocket caching plugin before migrate/clone? Or disable use of ssl connection in caching?
