• Hello Mailchimp plug-in gurus!

I’m buiding a website for a client who is using Mailchimp. We needed the plug-in to automate the process. On her old website she was putting in the subscribers by hand! ??

Anyhow, when I tested this website out it all worked. That is, until I entered her API. The plug-in wont accept it. It works on my API but not the clients. I tried regenerating an API and reinstalling. Both wont do any good.

Any tips? I noticed the other topic with a problem like this. When I got home this evening I’ll try those solutions. But incase its not working, any other things I can do?

    EDIT:
It does enter on US1 btw

  • Hey there!

So the API key is giving you some headaches? That’s certainly no good!

You’ll want to make sure the API Key that’s being pasted in ends with “-us1” or “-us2.” If you keep getting errors, it could be something as simple as clearing your browsers cookies and cache (or using a different browser altogether).

Let us know if that doesn’t get things resolved, we’ll dig a little deeper. You might also open up a live chat with us where we can discuss details a little further without prying eyes. ??
