I am using the Twenty Ten theme. See it here:

    https://www.americanlearnershipadvocator.com/

I suggested to the client to switch to this theme so he could add a cutom header image in place of the “road and woods” generic image.

I switched him to that theme thinking it would be easy to add the image for him. But I discovered that there’s only generic images and no way through WP-ADMIN to add the custom image.

Can someone tell me how I can add his custom header image using this theme? Please keep in mind that I know some HTML but i’m not a whiz at WP coding. Thanks.

  • No need to edit HTML. Go to Appearance >> Header

I did. It shows 8 generic photos but it does NOT have anything there where it says upload or something like that so I can add my own photo.

That’s why I’m posting this to seek another way to upload my own image for the header.

    Try looking again.

OK my bad. I didn’t realize you had to go to the sub-menu of header to allow uploading. thanks.
