    Using S2 members pro
    Want my members to register as S2level 1 but with author/contributor access.
    Now do I have to use both the members and capability manager enhanced or can I just use members plugin to do this.

    So the pay to register via stripe pro form. Then once I have user registration details I can modify user as a S2level 1 with author/contributor access.
    Then when they login they have minimal dashboard use be able to modify one module for text which they can post or I have notification plugin so I manually publish their text for them.

    So do i need both or can I get away with just members for this.

  • Have you tried cloning a lower-permissions role and then adding just the access you’re talking about? I haven’t tried it, but I *think* that’s the value of being able to clone roles. Then, new users can be automatically assigned to the new role.
