• I have a client who wants to revamp her site to be database driven.
Wordpress came to mind because of the simplicity in use and installation. Can anyone give me any advice on how I should go about this?

I came across the theme “gallery” by Chris Wallace and it looks great in how I want the images to display. I want my client to be able to add, modify and delete when necessary. Here current site is artalchemy.biz.

I really would like to avoid having her create thumbnails and normal size images for each item, so an auto resize feature would be great.

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • WordPress automatically resizes images on upload to produce a thumbnail and medium sized image.

Do you mean with a plugin for gallery type websites, or by default? I want my client to have the easiest experience possible when editing the content of the site. Thanks for the advice.

By default when uploading to the native Media Library.
