• I am still to decide whether it is best for me to use WordPress or MediaWiki for a mini-encyclopaedia of my own I am planning to create.

The main requirement I want is the ability to click on one word, which sends you to another page/topic, as I will have lots of different pages, and want a way to easily interconnect them. Rather like in Wikipedia – they use this function WORD when editing. Does WordPress have the same thing?

BUMP! I am asking about internal links between different WordPress pages. Do you need a special plug-in, or can this be done by manipulating the HTML text of the page?

I have now seemingly worked it out for myself, by uploading a plug-in I found and using this:

    [intlink id=”post-slug”]LINK[/intlink]

But nothing seems to come up in my edit functions, like an icon for an easy way to link pages, but that will do for me!

A problem I have found is that it only links between a page and a post. Even when I changed it to “page-slug”, it makes no difference. But what I want is a page-page internal link (because I want to get rid of posts and turn it more into a mini-encyclopaedia of related themes).
