    Hello,

Thanks so much for this awesome plugin! Just having a slight problem.

When I click on the magnifying glass I am taken to a product-type search results page, as it should. However, when I click on the View All link, I am taken to a post-type search results page. The “View All” link should also take me to the product-type search page. How do I configure this in my settings?

Here are the URLs to the results page for reference:

Clicking on view all link – https://example.com/?s=ninja&search_id=1
Clicking on magnifying glass – https://example.com/?s=ninja&search_id=1&post_type=product

    Thank you!
    Tammy

    Hi Tammy,

    thanks for your request.

Are you using the latest version of the plugin?
Try to deactivate searching in Posts and Pages and left only Products in the Settings -> Items to search through tab.

    Best regards

    Hi Stanislav,

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using the latest version of the plugin, and searching through posts and pages is deactivated. Only search through product post type is active. I have the same settings in both default settings and custom widget settings.

    Thank you,
    Tammy

I am getting the same thing. Using your Smart WooCommerce Search (1.4.1) with WP 4.8.3 and WooCommerce for a online store only (no blog, no posts). If user clicks on View ALL in your search, they go to a page that lists the correct products but looks like it is listing them as posts. It shows the product name, then an author and date. How do I fix that so it is displaying all the products with their image without an author and date? Thank you for your help.

We have this problem too, but only if we use “Custom Search Widgets”.

If we use the normal “product search” widget everything is ok.

    Hi,

Can you please re-save settings for a widget and check?

    Thanks.

    Hi Stanislav,

I added a new widget and this did not solve it. I am using the latest version of the plugin.

    Thank you,
    Tammy

    I’m experiencing the same issue.

I have only Products selected in the settings.

Pressing ENTER gives the following URL pattern for the search page (styled like theme):
    ?s=searchterm&search_id=1&post_type=product

Clicking on View All gives the following which is not styled like my theme:
    ?s=searchterm&search_id=1

How can we get &post_type=product added to the end of the query for View All?

    Hi there,

The new version is available with fixes for form submitting and “View All” button links.
Please update the plugin and check.

    Best
