clicking on title doesn't take you to event page

When you click on the event title, it just re-loads the same page but with all other events removed from the list.
I am using a shortcode on the page [event-list num_events=10 show_filterbar=false show_details=false] but need it to display the event page or be able to specify the URL when an event is clicked.
Can someone please help me as I need to square this away before I can relaunch the site.
