I am using a buddypress compatible theme, when clicking on the tab it is correctly showing the page within the tab but it is aligned to the left and also shows the sidebar even though the sidebar is turned off and the template is set to “Default Template”.

The plugin is good as it allows we to show information in the tab to members but I need a way of removing the page styles so that it fits correctly with the rest of the buddypress member dashboard

    Dear all,

We’ve just released our 1.3.3 update, which should fix the settings page issue!

We’ve worked so hard on this fix so please give us 5 stars if it works for you ??

Yes. It is working now. I’ll give you 5 star.

Now I got a question. The tab only shows up only when the user is looking at his/her profile. I want the tabs to show up publicly as well like the default tabs do. How do I do that?

Thank you very much @kausikc for your feedback, really happy it’s working for you now! ??

The public tab feature is only available in our Pro version: https://sensibleplugins.com/downloads/

    Thanks again.

Thanks for the update. Any news on the shortcodes not working?

    Thanks!

    You’re most welcome @makmacmc.

Regarding shortcodes not working: our old plugin used to serve the full template page, including the headers and all scripts. To support BP 1.7 and theme compatibility, our new plugin only serves what’s called “template parts”, where we only serve a small part of the page’s body. Apparently shortcodes won’t get automatically executed when template parts are served, since the responsible container simply displays the shortcode as it is.

If you wish, we can do some custom development that includes extracting all shortcodes and executing them ourselves before passing on the template part. We’ll add this new feature to our Pro version though to help support the custom development.

I’d be happy to get the pro version to solve this. Do you know when this will be working? The sooner the better would be a great help as I am hoping to open the member section asap.

    Thanks!

Will work over the weekend to try to get it working by Mon.

We’ll keep you updated, thanks a lot for your support!

    Great Thanks!

    Hi @makmacmc,

I just wanted to update you that we’re still having a very hard time displaying shortcodes in non-standard BP themes, since they utilize the new “template parts” feature (as discussed above). If you switch your theme to the BuddyPress default theme, you’ll actually be able to see the shortcode correctly displayed.

We’ve opened a new post regarding this problem on BuddyPress.org. Here is the link in case you’re interested: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/problems-displaying-shortcode-contents-in-non-standard-bp-1-7-themes/

We’ll let you know as soon as we have this fixed. Thanks.

Ok great thanks. Yes it it the last piece of the puzzle for me. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I was wondering if this was working yet. If it is I will buy the pro version. As I would like to use custom formidable forms on a profile tab, but if this isn’t working then neither version will do me any good.

    Thanks,
    Angel
