This happens only on mobile. When clicking on the search form in the top menu, the whole menu collapses and the search form disappears. How can I prevent this from happening?

    Thanks!

I’ve also followed your instructions to integrate it with Ajax Search Pro but the same thing happens – when you click in the input field, the whole menu collapses ??

    Hi motinews,

I’ve checked your site and I don’t see it happening on mobile, have you fixed it already?

    Regards,

I’ve fixed it with a lightbox plugin – which is less than ideal. I’ve currently disabled that plugin so you can test it. Do it on your phone, because bizarrely it works fine on the Google Chrome mobile simulator.

    Thanks!

Have you had the chance to see what’s wrong with it?

    Again, many thanks!

    Hi motinews,

The mobile menu panel itself (the bit that opens and closes) is controlled by your theme, and MMM is displayed within this panel. I.e. we don’t control when the mobile menu is opened or closed, do you see the same issue with MMM disabled?

Hi Tom. I’m using Hello Elementor, the most basic of themes so I’m not sure that is causing a conflict. Perhaps it has something to do with the plugin Ajax Search Pro? Although I did follow the instructions on your website to a T on how to integrate Ajax Search Pro in the menu.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

It must be doing something to detect a click within the mobile menu panel and then closing it. If you recreate the header using Elementor (either a free plugin for elementor that adds a header builder, or Elementor Pro that includes a header builder), then add our menu to it (leaving our menu to output the toggle/hamburger icon and handle the showing/hiding of the sub menu), you should find it works as expected.

    Regards,
    Tom
