Clicking on FullCalendar opens blog post

Hello! When you click on an event on FullCalendar it opens a “blog” entry that shows dates, times, etc.

Two Questions:

1. Can you remove the “by”, date created, and category under the title?
2. Is there a way to change the formatting of the dates “06/01/2014 – 11/01/2014” I want to read “01/06/2014 – 01/11/2014”?
