  • Hi Blaine,

Can you let me know which option you changed prior to noticing the issue with the Customizer? It’d be useful for me to know whether you’ve made any changes to the theme’s code.

Additionally, can you please go through the following troubleshooting steps for me:

    * Navigate to Dashboard > Updates in your admin area to ensure that WordPress as well as all of your plugins and themes are up-to-date.

    * Temporarily deactivate your plugins to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, enable them one by one in order to pinpoint the problematic plugin.

    * Test whether you’re able to replicate the problem in another browser.

Let me know how you get on with those steps and we can troubleshoot further from there.

    Thanks!

    Aloha Siobhan,

Thank you for the suggestions. Your ideas gave me a direction. I tried it in Firefox and the menus responded normally. So I went back to Safari and the problem was still there. I looked in Safari settings to clear recent history, then I went to Wordfence plug-in speed caching settings and cleared the cache.

    That fixed the problem.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Aloha,

    Aloha Blaine. ??

I’m so glad that that helped you on the right path and that you were able to resolve the issue.

If you have any extra questions then feel free to start another thread.
