• Clicking on a parent block auto-selects the next inner child block. This ‘feature’ (or bug) started after the most recent Gutenberg update. I’ve recorded a video to demonstrate:

My Google-fu has failed me, so I’m coming here as a last resort. Is this supposed to be a feature? A bug? Can I turn it off?

Sometimes the only way to select the parent is to click the parent, let it auto-select the child, and then use the block tape at the bottom to choose the parent manually. It’s incredibly aggravating.

It doesn’t look like the parent blocks were created using the default Gutenberg blocks, do you have another plugin that adds more block options for Gutenberg?

You might need to check with the developers of this addon because we can only provide assistance with Gutenberg issues on this forum.

However, I might be wrong. If that is the case can you please share a link to the page in the video so that I can look closely at this?
