Clicking next page number keeps me on same page

Was this always like this? or did it start happening recently? Can you please disable all the plugins and see if that fixes the issue?

I’m not sure, I had never tried it before. None of my plugins are active.

Can you please go to Settings > Permalinks and set it to the first option and see if the pagination works?

Just tried, but it makes no difference. I’m leaving it on the first option for a few hours in case you want to have a look, but I will switch it back at the end of the day.

How do I do that?

Go to Pages > All Pages and select the News page. Then from the “Page Templates” option on right, select the “Blog Page Template”.

That’s what I suspected, except there is no “page template” option on the page… The “page attribute” section only offer “parent” and “order”. Nothing about template.

Please click the “Screen Options” from top right corner and enable the “Page Templates” option.

There’s no such thing. When I open “Screen Options”, the available boxes are “Page Attributes” (which is already enabled), “Simply Exclude”, “Featured Image”, “AddtoAny”, “Revisions”, “Excerpt”, “Custom Fields”, “Discussion”, “Comments”, “Slug”, and “Author”.

Can you please reinstall the theme and see if that fixes the issue?
