Clicking “Activate” on a user logs me out of my account

  • When clicking the “Activate” button to manually activate a user that has not activated their account yet, the system immediately logs me out of my account and into that user’s account. I have this plugin installed on a multisite.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Add a new user to WordPress under a multisite setup
    2. Navigate to Network Admin > Users > Unconfirmed
    3. Hover over the user you recently added and click “Activate”

    Expected behavior:
    – The user gets confirmed and I see a confirmation screen and can continue working under my same user in WordPress

    Actual behavior:
    – The user does get activated, but I get logged out of my account and into the user’s account
    – I see a page that says I don’t have enough permissions to access this page
