Clicked "Publish", but I cannot find it online?!?

    OK – I am VERY new to this whole website/blog stuff (haha – I don’t even know what to call it! lol). So, I bought a domain & have a web host, and then, I started “playing” with wordpress, to see how to do it.

    So, chose a theme, uploaded a new pic for the page, I wrote a post, and an “about me” page, and I clicked “Publish” or “Update” (whichever it had on each page), so it shows that I saved it. Then, when I click on “view page”, I can see the preview. Then, I try to go on another tab & just type my website in the address bar (https://www.householdtipsandmoneysavingtricks.com). And what comes up is some generic page from my web host (bluehost).

    Why is it not showing my blog? I know it saved the information.

    Also, keep in mind, I’m not computer illiterate, I’m just computer-programming illiterate. So keep the explanations VERY simple, if possible.

    I’m not worried about getting my blog up and running to the public tonight, but I also don’t want to start out on the wrong foot, either.

    Looks like you got it working. I assume you just needed to delete the original index file or something?

    i believe i got it…i cleared the cookies & then i could see it…but is that something that i’ll have to do often? (i didn’t even know what that was, until i just had to google it! lol)

    Ah, ok. I don’t believe so. On my WP site I can just refresh and it’s updated. Might be because it was the first big change? Not really sure, actually. :p

    Glad it’s working now.
