Hi @luckybet,
Thanks for reaching out.
We are sorry to hear the Yoast meta box that generally appears under the content was moved to the sidebar. We know how frustrating it is when something doesn’t work as expected.
We are aware of a reported issue with the block editor where the meta boxes under the content can be pushed to the sidebar, sometimes accidentally. In short, the under content and sidebar list of boxes appear to be a single list.
Luckily, you can drag and drop the meta boxes between the sidebar and under the content. Additionally, you can use the up/down arrows to move between the sidebar and under content areas. You may need at least one meta box available to move the boxes between the two areas.
So let’s do this together, step by step. If you get stuck at a step, please tell us the step number and provide us with a screenshot of what you see so we can better assist you.
- Go to the add new post screen.
- If the sidebar DOES NOT show ‘Document’ and ‘Block’, click on the gear or sidebar icon next to the ‘Publish button’.
- Click the kebab three-dot menu.
- Click on ‘Options’.
- Under ‘Advanced Panels’, check ‘Custom fields’ then click ‘Enable & Reload’.
- The page should refresh, and you will see a ‘Custom fields’ section below the content and above the ‘Document’ line. You may have to scroll down to see the ‘Custom fields’ section.
- In the sidebar (while the gear or sidebar icon is selected), you will see a ‘Yoast SEO’ and a ‘Yoast SEO Premium’ section (you may need to scroll down in the sidebar or minimize some of the sections.
- Click on the ‘^’ up arrow on the ‘Yoast SEO Premium’ section to move the meta box from the sidebar to under the content area.
- Click the arrow on the right side to expand (if minimized) the Yoast SEO Premium section.
- Disable the ‘Custom fields’ section using the above steps that enabled it.
