Clickable words good for linkbuilding for a webshop?

I have a webshop for model building kits.
Now I have texts in the description of most products that are about the model.
It is an idea for link building to make a clickable link for each brand that is mentioned in the description, for example ‘Tamiya’, that links to the Tamiya construction kits category.
The same for ‘tank’, for example, where that word links to the military construction kits.
Does this help Google, perhaps causing your products to rank higher in Google?
I read on the internet that link building helps to gain higher authority, but I don’t want every product to have dozens of clickable links.
What do you think about that?

Hello, I don’t know if I understand exactly what you need. But Linkbuilding is links from other sites pointing to yours. Internal links are not the same thing. However, link architecture is also important for your site’s indexing in search engines.
