Clickable URL and HTTP in website field

Hi, I have searched on the forum for a while but couldn’t find an answer to this question. My apologies if this has been asked before.
I am including a website field for testimonials.
I have 2 questions about this:
1. I notice that I need to put https:// before the website otherwise it is not accepted. Is it possible to remove this restriction (perhaps a feature review)? As not everyone will include this nowadays and just put ‘example.com’.
2. On the testimonial page (attached link is an example of a list version) the link shows up as a non-clickable URL. Is it possible to make this a clickable link? If so can I do this myself or is this a feature request?
