    I need to create gallery with clickable thumbnails. For now only button on the overlay work as link, but I need to make linkable entire thumbnails of the gallery.

    You can disable extra elements on hover overlay, like zoom and link button, image description and title. There you can enable option clickable thumbnail. When you specify some link for a gallery image thumbnail of this image will be linkable.
