Clickable Custom Header Image For Each Category

  • Hello guys! Is there a plugin or method to get unique header image for each category, all clickable to an specific url,not just the home page?

    For example: Dog training header linked to an external dog training site.

    I don’t know much about plugins, but a custom coded solution is possible. At it’s heart is changing the header template. Check if the query is a category query. If so a switch/case structure can manage what image to load and which URL to link to.

    More involved would be some sort of user interface to collect more information when another category is added. For starters though, just hard coding what you have right now wouldn’t be too involved.
