Good evening. I want to show different albums on one page. However, the content of the albums should not be displayed, but a cover image. This cover picture is not included in the album behind! The user should click on the cover picture, which opens the album. is that possible? If yes how? Unfortunately I haven’t found a solution yet. Thank you so much!

  • As a user and nothing to do with WPPA+ I would say yes, you can do it and I’ve done it.
Generate a page for your cover images, for example https://www.yoursite/coverimages/
Generate a page for your album, for example https://www.yoursite/album1/
Now generate a WPPA+ gallery eg ‘cover photos’ and add this gallery to the page coverimages.
Go to Album Admin and select the Album ‘cover photos’
Select the photo you want to link to the Album1 and insert the link into Photo specific link URL:
    Repeat for Album2, Album3 etc

This is how I did it
I hope I’m not stepping on Jacobs toes posting this

No! You are most welcome to do this!.
You only forgot to mention that In Table VI-B2 (Thumbnail) the box PSO must be ticked.
(PSO = Photo Specific link Overrules)
