Like the subject says. I fill out the form, I click “Sign Now,” and nothing happens.

I have a custom site, but it was well designed and most plugins work just fine. But this one seems to have trouble connecting to its dependencies. On my first try, the stylesheet (petition.css) was clearly not loading (form was a mess). I got around this by copying the whole sheet into the page via the content editor, and now at least it renders properly. But I’m guessing there’s some similar routing/linking issues to .js and other dependencies. Is there a way to resolve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Looks like you have changed plugins.

Yup–under deadline and couldn’t figure out how to get SpeakOut to work, so I went with Civist. I’d still be interested in a solution though, as SpeakOut has more options. Basically seems like an issue where the page isn’t getting linked to the necessary assets–in particular CSS and JS–in the plugin. Not sure what could block that. I can reactivate the plugin and post another test page and follow up with a link in an hour or two, though I don’t know if that will show anything other than it’s not connecting to what it needs to function…

If you can reactivate the page with the SpeakOut! plugin and I will check what is going on if I can

I have the same problem. I’ve managed to paste CSS into custom CSS page, but nothing happens with submit button. I guess it’s having difficulty with locating JS file. my deadline is due tomorrow. It will be great if you can suggest some tip. Due to some confidential issue, I cannot share the testing url. is there a JS that I can copy and paste? FYI, I’m using template with Elementor. Not sure if it conflicts any of your code. Thankyou!

Hi. I am sorry, but I am traveling in India until February 18th and can’t do any digging until then.

First thing I would try is to see if it works with a generic theme. That might help narrow down the cause.

    Thanks! Have a good time!
