Click stats are never correct

This has been happening since I installed the plugin about 6 months ago but I’m only now getting around to sourcing the issue.
If I’m to believe my click stats, almost everyone that visits my site clicks the ads ?? Sure would be nice! Conveniently they also click all the ads almost exactly the same number of times!
Obviously something isn’t right here….. some event during my page load is being counted as a click.
Has anyone else every experienced this behaviour with grossly inflated click statistics?
