    Hi All,

I’ve created a gallery. When i click on any image inside gallery, it takes me to an attachment page of clicked image.

Moreover, the link is None. Then, also, it takes to the attachment image.

I don’t want to take me to the attachment page, i need to stay on same page.

Could anyone help me on this.

    Thanks

I’m guessing that you’re using the WordPress gallery function to set up the gallery? If so, that is the way the gallery is set up to work in Customizr.

If you simply want a grid of images that open up a lightbox effect, then:
    – make sure that Enable/disable lightbox effect on images is switched on in Appearance > Customize > Images
    – use the underlying bootstrap to format the layout of the images in your page, instead of the WP gallery: https://www.themesandco.com/snippet/customizr-layout-examples/

    Site

Yes, i’m using customizr gallery to insert images.

Enable/disable lightbox effect on images is on.

Plus, i’ll use customizr layout snippet and get back to you if i face any problem.

    Thanks

Thanks. I’ve used creative layout and that solved my problem.

New-ways, could you tell me what is the use of clicking on an image in gallery which will take you to another image.

Have to say, I don’t like galleries myself for that reason. I find them a bit redundant now we have lightboxes like Fancybox. In a gallery, to see a group of images, you have double the clicks.

But if you are selling photographs or paintings, or something similar, I guess you might want people to be able to click through and see a full version of that image and only that image.
