Click on an event title in the month view

    Hi,
    I hope you’re all good.
    You did such a nice job with TEC plugin, thank you very much.

    I want to be able to click on an event title, in the month view.
    For now, I am only able to hover hover the title to see the tooltip showing.
    The only way to go to the single event page is to click on the tooltip, not just at the click on the event’s title.

    Thanks to your amazing knowledgebase and the themer’s guide, I (now) know how to customize a template… but here I can’t find where or what should I do…

    Can you help me ?

    Hi,

    I am still looking for a solution here.

    I would like that when clicking on an event in the month view, the single event page opens in a new tab.

    I know that you’re giving premium support to premium users but I don’t need others functions so far.

    By default the event title in month view is clickable.
    Your theme may be changing that.

    You could try creating a custom template for the single-event in month view and make sure your time picks that one.
    The file you are looking for is: /the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/month/calendar-body/day/calendar-events/calendar-event/title.php

    And the custom template goes here: [your-theme]/tribe/events/v2/month/calendar-body/day/calendar-events/calendar-event/

    Hi,

    for others in my situation, I was using the plugin “Divi event calendar” (from pee aye creative studio) in addition to “the event calendar”, which is normal.

    The calendar generated by the “divi event calendar” plugin did not allow me to click on an event in the calendar.

    I have just found that the regular “the event calendar” plugin, allows it in its month view.

    My biggest mistake was not seeing that the plugin already offered a monthly view if we clicked on the “month” view …
