    Hi guys,

I′m using Search & Filter with GD CPT Tools (to create taxonomies).
    My current code is this:
    [searchandfilter fields="search,cities,specialties" submit_label="Search" types=",checkbox,select" headings=",Cities,Specialties"]

Unfortunately when I choose for example 2 different cities in the checkbox, it returns “NOTHING FOUND” Error. Thats wrong considering that I have at least 1 post in each Specialtie.

    Any idea why it occurs?

Hope you guys can help me on that.
    Thanks
    Gabriel

Today, testing in another site (using standard theme Twenty Fifteen) is showed another behavior: when I check 2 different cities, it shows the results of the first one, ignoring (and unchecking) the second …

Thats really strange, can you try with a different custom taxonomy plugin?

Thanks for the plugin suggestion Author,

    Results of the tests:
Deactivated the old plugin and installed the Custom Post Type UI. Created another taxonomies.
When I use checkbox in the first taxonomie and select in the second, it results in “Nothing Found” page. And when I check the 2 options in the first taxonomy (and the second taxonomy is set to All) it searches only the first option, not both (i.e not searching combined)

Any possibility to the problem be related to “checkbox” option? Because when I change the first taxonomy to select, it results OK …

Thanks for your useful information.. I have a same Problem with this plugin. I have tried “Custom Post Type UI”.. Its having more dependencies of other plugins.. It’s not a good solution.
    Any other Solution please.

    Thanks

This is strange, I’ve done some tests using default themes, non default themes and don’t seem to ahve these same issues you are having.

@delkhanna – this plugin should work with any taxonomy – my suggestion above was only to test with a 3rd party plugin that was known to be compatible – as it turns out it doesn’t make a difference – so there is something else at work here.

At the moment, I’m providing very limited support to the free plugin as there is a new version in the works, and with that there will be substantial changes to the codebase – which will surely overcome these issues.

The next version of S&F will be based on the pro plugin and currently in Pro these issues do not exist – so I am confident they will be resolved.

If either of you have a link I could look at I can try to make a recommendation.

    Thanks

I created antoher website (from zero) using custom post type UI and now it is working. Don’t know what happened before, but now is ok.

Thanks for your reply. It still have the same problem. I have tried a new project from the scratch using basic theme, Custom post type UI and Search&Filter plugin.

If you want to have a look, I am sharing the link below.
In the other project I used Sydney theme with Types and search&filter plugins. It shows me the same problem.

    Hey there

I’ve not had time to look at this, we’re late releasing S&F Pro 2.0 so all resources are dedicated there.

Once we have finished this release we will be implementing an update for S&F free where this issue will be fixed.

    Thanks

THanks for your reply. I am waiting for next reply and Good luck for new version.. You guys are doing great job.. Cheersssss..
