    Scratch that (kind of). Just checked it in Chrome mobile browser and works perfectly. Seems to just be the native android browser.
    Would still appreciate your input as to why it won’t work on that though.

    I think that browser has not been updated in a long time and is no longer supported for the new HTML standard. You may be able to fix the problem by using the Inline Floating Editor for you links. The main editor uses new HTML 5 specs for its links.

    Turned out that when I updated to the latest version of WordPress, it started working on fine.
