yes that css worked. It stopped the flickering on the ipad.
Is that going in your next update along with the click to slide option?

I would def put them in there.

Yes, I’ve made a not to add both in the next release of Slide Anything.

Oh, and the setting is enabled with the ‘Click to Advance’ checkbox.

Great. I keep an eye on some famous street photographers websites, they usually use Squarespace. I guess Squarespace is where the new tech trends come from in this. Its good to see you implement this new style.

Not sure if this is possible but here goes,

Photographers like myself need to upload 20-30 photos at a time. So having a way to implement 30 – 40 slides in one go would improve user experience. Otherwise, it is very time-consuming. Especially if one is always uploading, gets very tedious quick.

actually just realised, you can make a 40 slide template and duplicate it. Issue solved I think

I just added a new slider
    click to slide doesnt work
align centre only works with visual view when I use the align feature in WordPress itself, not in the plugin. Then it automatically resizes the images (makes them appear smaller than the size I wanted).

I have added custom css align centre and have to add click to slide in JS as previously. Cheers

    This is a serious issue.

I added 40 slides via IMG links. I added some content right at the last slide #41…the plugin or WordPress automatically changed all the IMG to <p>

    see

    <p></p>

I first added all images like this

as soon as I add any text, it automatically adds the <p> code. This effect the image display sizes.

So I have to go back and change all 40 slides. It is super frustrating. Cheers

also, when i click to slide the images. sometimes it skips 4 or 5 images. Thats not good, specially when I’m trying to show a series of images. Is there a way to stop it from happening?

    Try installing SA Version 2.3.17.
There was an issue with the ‘Click to Advance’ feature with multiple sliders on the page.

Regarding your previous issue (above). My plugin uses the built-in (Tiny MCE) WordPress Editor as the content editor for each slide. Sometimes as a developer I also have issues with the standard WP editor in VISUAL mode as it adds or removes stuff. So the best bet is to switch to the TEXT editing mode and add your content as HTML.

ok, so i deleted the custom `js for the click to advance function and then applied it in the plugin, but it didn’t work. So I had to put the custom js back in.

when I click to advance (I am referring to on desktop here) it skips slides, as in I click through 2-3 slides and then it skips a few.

see here( I use desktop view for how I use it)

Click to advance doesn’t work on desktop.
It only works when I manually input the JS code. when I input the click to advance js code, it does work but there is some glitch where the 4th or 5th slider when clicked to advance it skips about 10 slides for some reason. is there a bug?

Ok, can you please have a look at the following page and test whether the ‘Click to Advance’ feature is working in your browser:
    https://edgewebpages.com/hero-slider-with-thumbnails/

Maybe try setting Autoplay to 0 (slide duration set to 0).
Also is this happening on a page with multiple sliders on the page? Experiment with just one slider on the page.
